Max had the gift of jovial serenity. It may sound funny, but I really
looked up to him. Up to his very last second, he smiled and conveyed a
wisdom in his eyes that most humans, let alone dogs, will never possess.
Though we have lost a best friend, he is immortalized in our hearts.
